Japanese crypto exchange bitbank has partnered with Epos Card, a subsidiary of the Marui Group, to launch the EPOS CRYPTO Card, a credit card that supports using Bitcoin in your bitbank account as the source for monthly bill repayments. The card is issued on the Visa network, has no annual fee, and offers cashback that you can choose in cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, ASTR, and others. When making repayments, BTC will be automatically sold at the platform’s price and converted to Japanese Yen for settlement. This product is Japan’s first credit card that supports direct debit from a cryptocurrency exchange account, but please note that selling BTC may involve tax reporting.
