I just heard from The San Francisco Standard that Sam Altman's house (CEO of OpenAI) was targeted again. Just two days after the Molotov cocktail incident, early Sunday at 1:40 a.m., a Honda sedan stopped in front of his house, and a tall person by the window fired a shot into the side of the house facing Lombard Street. SF police have arrested two suspects: Amanda Tom (25 years old) and Muhammad Tariq Hussain (23 years old), on charges of reckless use of a firearm. Both OpenAI and the police have not issued official statements. I feel this situation is quite serious; such repeated incidents are unusual.
